Grahams (Shilly) Sidewinder SWB

Grahams latest buggy based around a new Sidewinder shell courtesy once again from Mel Hubbards Manxbuggies.


A custom 2 tone fade paint job laid on by grahams own spraygun skills!

Traditional slotmags front and massive 10" wide rear wrapped in Cooper Cobra rubber


The project was started last December and bang on target it drove onto the showground at the Deva show, all work done by himself and his good friend Porsche Neil, Graham tells me also loads of info from the beach buggy god himself.. Manx Dave. Also I have heard a rumour about another plot involving a Sidewinder and Graham.. watch this space =)

Nigels JAS Speedkit SWB

Here we have Nigels JAS Speedkit SWB buggy, built about 6 years ago and averaging 5000 miles a year

Sitting on Race line wheels, the rears 10X15 fitted with 33x12.5x15 and the fronts 7x15 fitted 30x8.5x15
Running a 1641cc lump featuring engle 125 cam, 1.1:1 scat procomp rockers, 044 super mag heads, twin weber 44 idfs, scat volksracer crank 69mm, scat H beam rods, bug pack headers
Stock clutch and braking system, also a watertight hood (upto 65mph) also from JAS

Makes a nice change to see a buggy in this country running on such fat rubber, fantastic looking buggy Nigel!

Mr. Doons (Chad) own Doon SWB

Mr. Doon (Chad) himself sent me details of his own buggy, 2nd ever shell produced by http://www.doon.co.uk/ designed by himself and good friend Rich Crees.


Built from the ground up, every last nut and bolt has been renewed, Running on Porsche Boxster alloys 9x17 rear and 7x17 fronts, keeping with the Porsche theme Porsche 944 turbo aluminium rear IRS arms and rear disc brakes


The power is provided by a 1968cc Laurie Pettitt engine with twin 40 dellorttos, C35 SCAT cam, Waterboxer 2 litre counterweighted crank, external oil filtration and cooling, BAS stainless exhaust


The interior features Custom made gauges from Green Gauges, CSP close ratio shifter, aluminium checkerplate floor halves and corbeau aftermarket seats


Superb spec and the attention to detail makes this one of the best buggies I have seen
